Lovejoy, Attorney at Law – State Trooper Tristan Atkins, head of air operations for the Washington State Patrol, was one of 21 State Managers awarded the Governor’s Award for Leadership in Management by Governor Christine Gregoire this week. Trooper Atkins oversaw the creation of the WSP’s DUI Aerial Response Team (aka DART). DART crews have successfully aided in apprehending 28% of erratic drivers. 44% of these erratic drivers are subsequently arrested on suspicion of DUI. Read the Governor’s Press Release here.
