On January 30, 2010, an Anacortes police officer stopped a car driven by a 24-year-old Anacortes woman in the 1100 block of 12th Street around 2:22 a.m. after confirming she had a suspended driver’s license. She smelled of intoxicants and said she had one large mixed drink. She failed field sobriety tests and was arrested. She later said she had two mixed drinks. She provided breath samples almost twice the legal limit. The woman faces charges of DUI and driving with a suspended license. She was released to a sober adult.
